Academic Advising and Support 

  • Wednesday, January 17 is the last day to add a class.  Students should consult their academic advisor before making course changes. 
  • The Center for Student Success (CSS) office in 112 Erikson Hall has moved.  All college academic advising services are now located in N-24 of the Agricultural Science Center (adjacent to the Ag Information Center).  Those with questions may call 859-257-3468.

  • The UK Education Abroad Scholarship deadline for summer programs is February 1.  Students planning to study abroad this summer should have an active program application in order to be eligible.  For more information, click here

Experiential Opportunities 

  • The American Seed Trade Assoication encourages students to apply for its Campus Connections program.  This grant program offers financial support for students to attend a convention where they'll be able to connect with 300 seed industry professionals. Applicants should be juniors or students with one year of students remaining in an agronomy, plant science/genetics, crop science, agricultural business/economics, biological engineering, horticulture, floriculture or other seed-related degree programs.   • The Kentucky Water Resources Research Institute Annual Symposium allows individuals conducting water-related work (e.g. research, management, education) to discuss their activities with others interested in the waters of the Commonwealth. Presentation abstracts are due January 19.  The symposium will be held on March 29, 2018 at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort. For more information, click here
