Advising and Academic Support

  • Priority registration begins on Monday, March 26.  Check myUK GPS for exact window openings.  In order to register, students must have met with an academic advisor to lift their advising hold.  Those with questions should contact the Center for Student Success at 859-257-3468 or in N24, Ag Science Center.


  • The deadline to register for the May 2018 Commencement Ceremony is Monday, April 16 at 8:00 a.m.  All graduates must register to participate in the ceremony here.  To purchase cap, gown, tassel and other graduation materials, visit the UK Bookstore or click here.

Club Meetings

  • Horticulture Club invites all students to pizza and movie night on Wednesday, March 28 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in Greenhouse 12.  See the UK Horticulture Facebook page for more information.
  • All students are invited to learn more about the UK Agronomy Club this Wednesday (March 28) at 7:00 p.m. in room A7 of Ag North.  During the meeting, attendees will discuss upcoming club events and other ways to get involved. 

Event Promotion

  • The Kentucky Blood Center Blood Drive is Wendesday, March 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in 154 Barnhart.  For more information, and to sign up for a spot, click here.
  • April's First Friday breakfast is taking palce on Tuesday, April 6 from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.  The event will feature Bill Best, in a presentation about his work and new book, Kentucky Heirloom Seeds: Growing, Eating, Saving."  For more information, click here.
  • The UK Community Supported Agriculture program is accepting registrations for the 2018 season.  Get 22 weeks of certified organiz vegetables, hers, and fruits grown by students and staff in the College of Agriculture.  Early bird price of $584 for students ends on 3/31.   • The UK Alumni Association is hosting an event to connect students with alumni mentor professionals on Tuesday, March 27 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.  Dinner and dessert will be provided, and business attire is suggested. Space is limited.  Register to attend here.


  • The Horticulture Club's Open Greenhouse will occur on Wednesday, April 4 from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in Greenhouse 12.  The sale will feature hardy herb transplants of chives, oregano, thyme, parsley, lavender and sage. Cool season vegetable transplants and tropical houseplants will also be available.
