Experiential Opportunities

  • Exercise and Weight Control Researchers at UK are seeking participants in a 12 week exercise program to better understand how exercise could be used most effectively to promote weight control.  Participants will be compensated for their time.  Restrictions apply.  For more information, and to sign up, click here.

Club Meetings

  • All students are invited to the next Agronomy Club meeting on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. in A7, Ag Science Center North.
  • Students are invited to join the BAE Student Branch in preparing the Cat's CATchment (the rain garden next to Farm Road) for the summer on Friday, April 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  All gloves, tools, and supplies will be provided.  For more information, click here.

  • UK Pride Week is  this week, April 9 - April 14.  There are various events across campus throughout the week.  For a full schedule, click here.
  • Students interested in attending professional school are invited to a presentation on the basics of multiple mini interviews on Tuesday, April 10 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Seay Auditorium.  For questions, please reach out to Colette Tebeau via email.
  • Representatives from the Peace Corps will hold an information session on Tuesday, April 10 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Stuckert Career Center. The event will include information about the application process, work placements, and education incentives, and more.
  • SSTOP Hunger is hosting a 3 night speaker series from Tuesday, April 10 toThursday, April 12, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in 207 Funkhouser. Each night will be dedicated to different speakers: Tuesday features nonprofits, Wednesday features sustainable restaurant owners and Thursday features student leaders. Free Puccini's pizza will be served.  This event is open to the public.
  • Students are invited to attend a celebration honoring Dr. Lori Garkovich on Friday, April 13 from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the E.S. Good Barn.
