Academic Support and Advising 

  • On Tuesday, September 26, Lesli Hall, the college's pre-professional advisor, is hosting a pre-health meeting for students interested in healthcare careers from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Ag Information Center (room N24B). Information will be geared toward freshmen/sophomore students.

Scholarships and Funding Opportunities

  • The Western Herb Society is offering two undergraduate scholarships valued at $7,500 and $9,000. Preference will go to students with a financial need and career goals in horticulture. For more information, click here

Club Meetings

  • The UK Horticulture Club will host a work day on Wednesday, September 27 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Greenhouse 12. Students will participate in a native plant and apple sales. For more information, contact Grace Ragain. 

  • The UK Dairy Club will meet on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in 109 Garrigus. Alex Crosbie, BVSc will be presenting on automated health monitoring and Australian dairies. All students interested in learning more about dairy are encouraged to attend. Contact Kelly Loewen with questions. 

  • The Agribusiness Club will meet on Wednesday, September 27 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in N12. Abby Martin, 2017 program graduate, will discuss career and internship opportunities with C.H.
