  • On Thursday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m., the Stuckert Career Center is hosting "Pre-Heath Check-Up: Assessing Your Health Profession Career Path" in the Stuckert building.  This session is designed for those reconsidering their career path and searching for alternatives within and outside of healthcare. Course Promotion 

  • ENT 110: Insect Biology. The class meets from 9:30 to 10:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Erikson Hall. ENT 110 fulfills the core requirement for natural sciences and there’s no textbook! The class covers a wide range of topics including insect identification, insect pests, beneficial insects, pests of concern to Kentucky, diseases transmitted by insects, their importance as pollinators, and much more!

  • ASC 333-003 Kentucky Cattle Industry & Auction Market System. Learn about Kentucky's evolving and thriving cattle industry. Students will be introduced to associations and businesses that influence Kentucky's industry. Students can also gain cattle handling experience while networking with professionals. The class will meet Wednesdays 3:00 to 4:50 p.m. at the Bluegrass Stockyards Regional Marketplace.

Events

  • The Stuckert Career Center is hosting a Law School Forum on Tuesday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m. in room 330E of the Student Center.  Representatives from Northern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville will discuss tips for preparation, admissions overview and more.
  • SSTOP Hunger will host a Faces of Hunger Short Film Festival in honor of World Food Day. The Festival is on Wednesday, October 17 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Funkhouser room 207. Click here for more information. 
  • The Center for Student Success is offering free professional headshots on Wednesday (10/17) and Thursday (10/18) from 11:00 to 2:00 in the lobby outside of Seay Auditorium.

Fundraising 

  • The Horticulture Club is hosting a fall fundraiser. Items being sold include carnivorous plants, apples and native plant species. The sale is Wednesday, October 17, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. outside Greenhouse 12. To learn more, click here
