Club Meetings

  • The Student Dietetic and Nutrition Association will meet Wednesday, November 15 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., in 308 Erikson Hall.
  • UK Horticulture club is hosting a work day on Wednesday, November 15 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Greenhouse 12. Students will work a farmstand sale, transplant tropicals, and with different Kentucky perennials.

Scholarships and Funding Opportunities

  • Tractor Supply is seeking a talent and organizational development intern. Applicant must be a senior, and taking related courses. Event Promotion

  • Student Council invites students, faculty and staff to its annual Cooking for a Cure event on Wednesday, November 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Ag Deli.  For $5.00, attendees can stop by for chili or soup samples and enjoy a bowl of their favorite variety. This event is held in memory of Lisa Cox, the college's former scholarship coordinator.   • The Agribusiness Club is hosting a Lexington Trip on Friday, November 17 to tour some of Kentucky's finest agribusiness attractions. Participants will eat lunch at Smithtown before touring FoodChain and Alltech.  The event is from 11:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation and registration is free, but attendees are expected to pay for their lunch.  Click here to sign up, link closes on Wednesday, November 15.

  • The UK Organic Farming Unit is taking pre-orders for Thanksgiving Boxes of vegetables. Winter Storage Boxes and Fall Greens Boxes are available. Both boxes are 30 dollars each. They will be sold in the E.S. Good Barn parking lot on Tuesday, November 21 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Click here to reserve yours today.

  • The Student Dietetic and Nutrition Association is hosting a bake sale on Friday, November 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Funkhouser lobby. All treats are 1 dollar, cash and venmo accepted.
