  • UK School of Information Science is accepting applications for a social media intern Fall ‘17. This internship will allow students who have an interest in social media and content management to experience professional work and gain valuable research and communication skills.   • The BloodHorse LLC is currently looking to fill a Digital Library Sciences Internship. The internship will involve working with the Visuals Director and Digital Assets team for an average of 15-20 hours per week. Specific duties include: digital asset workflow involves photo research, archiving images, adding metadata while working in Extensis Portfolio, SmugMug, Filezilla as well as Photoshop and Bridge. This internship is a great practical application of management tools and information technology. There will also be the occasional opportunity to work on slideshows and social media promotions. The ideal candidate will be a College Junior or Senior with knowledge of equine industry and related terms and will be given office workspace with computer and software. Those interested should send their resume to Meredith Helm.

Event Promotion

  • Students are encouraged to save the date for the 2017 Ag Career Fair on Wednesday, September 20 from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the E.S. Good Barn.  While this event will be geared toward traditional agriculture majors, all students may attend.  More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
