  • Tuesday, March 19th: Ag Trivia Night Grab a friend, and join students, faculty, staff and alumni for a fun evening and test your ag knowledge! This event is sponsored by the UK M-G CAFE Alumni Association.
  • Wednesday, March 20th: Careers & Commodities Fair Join us in Ag North to network with employers and commodity partners and get a free t-shirt celebrating Ag Week! Open to all students.
  • Wednesday, March 20th: Ag Day Party Join the Collegiate Farm Bureau Executive Team for an Ag Day Party in Ag North, where all students can spend time together, play fun games, and fellowship!
  • Thursday, March 21st: Health & Wellness Movie Night It's movie night! Grab a seat and enjoy free snacks from Campus Kitchen as we watch Before the Plate. In Funkhouser, Room 307.
  • Thursday, March 21st: QPR Training To celebrate National Ag Week 2024, UK Agricultural Education & The Ag Ed Society will be hosting a Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) Mental Health Training!

Peterson Farms - US Crop Scout

As a Crop Scout Intern at Peterson Farms, you can expect to gain an understanding of how we use different agronomic processes to produce high yields at a large scale while maintaining proper stewardship of the land that we farm. This is a very hands-on scouting internship; Interns will have a wide array of duties, including but not limited to: stand counting and growth staging crops, identifying weeds/diseases, pulling soil/tissue samples, operating a drone, and utilizing scouting applications. Present Your Research at the 18th annual Showcase of Undergraduate Research

Register to present your research at the 18th annual Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars on April 24, 2024 in the Gatton Student Center's Grand Ballroom. The Showcase is a celebration of research and an opportunity for undergraduates to present their work through oral sessions, posters, artistic exhibits or performances. The event gives students from all disciplines a chance to engage in public outreach and polish their presentation skills. Register by April 1, 2024, click here to register.
