The Appalachian Health Scholarship is rewarding students living in Appalachia who are interested in, or currently pursuing, higher education in a health-related field with up to $5,000 in scholarship assistance for the 2021-2022 school year. Experiential Opportunities
- Applications are now open for the student wellness ambassador (SWA) position. SWAs work collaboratively to inform students on various well-being topics including alcohol and drug prevention, stress reduction and management, healthy sleep habits, active living, and more. Events
- The 2021 Virtual Kentucky Local Food Systems Summit will take place Wednesday, March 3 from 9:00 to 1:15. This event will include panel discussions with local food systems leaders from across the state. Registration is free, and is required to access the conference. Learn more and register here.
- All students are invited to the Cultivating Inclusion Series "Weaving Racial Equity into Extension’s Food System Development Work: Stories from the Field" to participate in a virtual panel intended to inspire racial equity as a professional.
