Student Support & Advising 

  • Students who have not yet met with their advisor to discuss their Spring 2023 schedule should do so as soon as possible. Those with questions can email their advisor or CAFEadvising@uky.edu.
  • The Study is hosting a common hour review for MA 123 tonight (Nov. 14) from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Click here for details
  • The UK Counseling Center will be in N24 Ag North this Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for its Let's Talk program. Students are encourage to drop in for a casual conversation with a counselor and, if needed, receive a referral to a campus or community program. Events 

  • On Wednesday, November 16 at 5:00 PM in N24 Ag North, the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is hosting an open student discussion focusing on community healing, restorative justice and UK Student Conduct policies. Refreshments will be provided, and the event will follow the structure of My Brothers Keeper and Sister Circle.
  • On Thursday, November 17 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Base110 W. Vine Street, the Tech Association of the Bluegrass is hosting "Undrcvr Lex," with promotional support from Commerce Lex. This event will connect creative and technical students with employers, entrepreneurs, and community members working in tech development, creative fields, marketing, and sales.   • UK Campus Kitchen will have two more Farm to Fork lunch pick ups this semester: Wednesday, November 16 and Wednesday, November 30 at both Funkhouser and Ag North. Click here for details and to register.
  • On Friday, November 18 at 7:00 PM, UK Student Orgs and Activities is hosting a screening of The Big Lebowski (1998) in Worsham Cinema. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Club Meetings 

  • On Wednesday, November 16 at 7:00 PM, the UK Pre-Vet Club will welcome Dr. Kevin Smith of Richmond Road Vet Clinic. Dr. Smith is the club Gold Sponsor of the year, and all interested students are welcome to attend. 

Fundraising 

  • The CAFE Living Learning Program (LLP) has organized its inaugural DanceBlue 2023 fundraising team with the goal of raising $4,000 for cancer research. Over 17 years of DanceBlue, more than $19 million has been raised to support these efforts and donations supporting the CAFE LLP team can be made via the UK Network for Good website.
