Advising and Academic Support
- Students needing assistance with Spring 2022 course registration are encouraged to stop by the Registration Help Desk on Wednesday, December 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in room 202 of The 90. Staff from UK Advising, Financial Aid, Financial Ombud, Registrar, and Student Account Services will be available to answer any questions students may have.
- The University of Kentucky Counseling Center is hosting a workshop on Tuesday (12/7) at 4:00 pm and on Wednesday (12/8) at 1:00 pm for students who prepare well for class exams but consistently receive low test scores. Fundraiser
- Horticulture club members will be fundraising with their poinsettias and giftable planters in the Agriculture Science Center north deli area on Wednesday, December 8 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. There will be several poinsettia colors to choose from. Plants come with a container cover and protective sleeves. Click here for more information.

- UK Campus Rec is holding a number of in-person group fitness classes at Alumni Gym and the Johnson Center. Registration is not required. Click here for more details.
- UK SGA is hosting a virtual mental health panel with Dr. Trisha Clement Montgomery and Dr. Corrine Williams on Monday, December 6 at 6:00 p.m. Topics will discuss the mental health of students on this campus with an emphasis on marginalized populations while discussing the mental health and academic support resources available to students. - Join the Student Government Association from their December journaling workshop on Tuesday, December 7 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Room 330 AB of the Student Center. This workshop is designed to be a mindfulness activity that allows individuals to set aside time to build their journals and month. During these workshops, there will also be tips/tricks and tutorials to help students learn how to organize their lives efficiently. Click here to RSVP.
- December graduates are invited to stop by Wildcat Wrap Up on Wednesday, December 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Student Center Ballroom A to enjoy ice cream, snap some photos, make a UK craft, and write thank you notes to those who have made your time at UK special. - The department of student employment is reaching out to students who may be interested in working in a student position as a mail processor. The business is seeking an individual to run machinery to process incoming mail. The job entails separating classes of mail and applying proper postage amounts as well as sorting by zip codes. - There is an opening through the College of Health Sciences to work with the College of Health Sciences Creative Services team to assist with various design needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Photoshop and InDesign and will have an understanding of visual art concepts such as balance and contrast.
