Undergraduate Research Travel Grants are available!

Funding for this undergraduate research travel opportunity is available through the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and is provided by the University of Kentucky Vice President for Research, through the Office of Undergraduate Research, and the Gatton Foundation. This award is coordinated by the college's Center for Student Success and the college's Research Office.

The goal of this funding is to enhance undergraduate experiences and innovation in research. These awards are provided on a competitive basis to undergraduate students to gain research experience, complementing their coursework. Additionally, students selected by their program to apply will benefit from compiling the application for competition. Undergraduate Travel Grants are now available to apply until April 12th. IFAL Counselors Wanted - apply today!

The Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders (IFAL) is a five-day summer leadership conference that exposes rising high school seniors to college life and explores various fields of study for careers in agriculture. It is co-facilitated between Kentucky Farm Bureau and the University of Kentucky. M-G CAFE is seeking college counselors to aid in facilitation of IFAL. Who's Hiring: Center for Crop Diversification

The Center for Crop Diversification is looking to hire a fellow for the summer. This is a paid fellowship opportunity with the potential for 399 Class Credit. Our fellow will attend farm visits, team meetings, extension programs, etc.; work collaboratively & independently on projects; collect data from farmers markets & produce auctions; & assist in social media content creation. Happening Soon: 4-H/FFA Field Day

The annual UK 4-H/FFA Agricultural Field Day will be taking place on Thursday, April 18. Martin-Gatton CAFE academic programs and organizations are invited to participate in the involvement fair where approximately 2,000 prospective high school and middle school students are expected. The involvement fair takes place 11:00am - 1:00pm at Kroger Field. Interested programs and organizations must complete the form linked below to reserve their spot.
