Call for IFAL Counselors
The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is seeking summer counselors for its Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders (IFAL) happneing June 25 to June 29.
The Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders (IFAL) is a unique five-day summer leadership conference that exposes students to college life and explores different fields of study for careers in agriculture. The event is coordinated by Kentucky Farm Bureau and the University of Kentucky.
The IFAL program helps students become more familiar with agriculture, realize career pathways, participate in leadership development opportunities, and learn more about the university as well as KY Farm Bureau. Vital to cultivating these values is the work of IFAL Counselors who will live with, monitor, as well as facilitate activities with this group of students.
UK and KFB are seeking current undergraduate or graduate students with good standing in a program within the College of Agriculture, Food & Environment who have passion for youth, high energy, and desire to share awareness of issues in agriculture.
Compensation will be provided.
