Ag Career Fair: Northeast

All UK students and alumni are invited to join a virtual career fair on November 17, 2021 hosted by AgCareers.com.

Attending employers include dozens of top companies looking to fill positions throughout the Northeast region including Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, & Vermont. Open positions include areas such as finance, communication, production, processing, research and development, and much more. To learn more, and to register, click here.

It is recommended that all students and alumni planning to attend this event: 
  • Have their resume reviewed by a counselor in the UK Stuckert Career Center. For quick (15 minute) reviews, counselors are available for drop-ins from noon to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday. For a longer, in-depth conversation, schedule an appointment by logging into Handshake.
  • Research the attending employers and select at least three organizations to approach. Prepare thoughtful questions related to specific job opportunities, organizational mission/initiatives, credentials for ideal candidates and more.
  • Dress professionally for the event. Ideal attire may include neutral colors, collared shirts/jackets, slacks and conventional shoes. Those without these items may consider visiting the Wildcat Wardrobe, a free professional clothing service for UK students.
