Experience Equine Day

The Fall 2024 Experience Equine Day will take place on Wednesday, October 16th and November 6th, 2024 - Don't miss your chance to learn more about UK's Equine Science & Management program, meet our faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and tour our facilities and local industry!
Experience Equine Day is a full day-long experience meant to immerse future wildcats in the Lexington equine industry and share more information on admissions, curriculum, student life, careers, and more with UK's Equine Science and Management program.
 
 
Tentative Itinerary:

Dr. Jamie McLeod (UK Equine Programs) - Director Overview
12:45 p.m.Dr. Jill Stowe (Equine Science & Management) - Director of Undergraduate Studies
1:40 p.m.Future Wildcats - Industry Tour (off campus)
Parents/guests - Equine Parent Informational Session (Maine Chance)
All attendees will participate in a panel discusion 
(Specific session times will vary by date)
4:30 p.m.Final Q&A and Wrap up
5:00 p.m.

Important notes:
This program is intended and geared for current high school seniors.

Please note that we only have a limited number of spots available!  As a result, student participants are limited to only one guest (e.g., parent, guardian, teacher, agent, etc.) so that more students may be able to experience the event.  Registration may adjust/halt/close based on anticipated number who plan to attend.
