Conducting research during the summer can be a transformative experience for undergraduate students, as you put your skills to the test in labs, in the fields, in library collections, in art studios, and on the stage.
The Office of Undergraduate Research annually awards a vast number of undergraduates the opportunity to try something new or take their experience to the next level during the summer term. This grant provides undergraduates with the opportunity to study in a wide variety of disciplines while doing intensive and self-directed research or creative work under the supervision of a faculty mentor.
Criteria for Eligibility
Any full-time UK undergraduate student of any major who has completed at least 1 semester (preferably 2+) of research with a faculty mentor. The student also must be returning to UK in the following Fall Semester as an undergraduate.
