  • AgCareers is hosting a nationwide virtual career fair on Wednesday February 8. Attending employers include those from crop production, natural resources, biotechnology, retail, energy and a variety of other industry sectors. Click here for details and to register. 
  • Auburn Vet Med's summer Veterinary Intensive Program is May 21-27 and offers current students and recent grads a unique, hands-on learning experience with small and large animals. Students will develop professional skills including preparation for completing the VCMAS application and interview process. Apply by Feb 6. Click here for more details.
  • The UK Brzozowski lab works on plant breeding and genetics for sustainable production of oats, rye, and intermediate wheatgrass in Kentucky. We are hiring students for full time summer work. Responsibilities include field data collection, harvesting, and analysis, and occasional greenhouse and lab work. Education Abroad 

  • Students planning to study abroad this summer are encouraged to submit their Education Abroad scholarship application by the February 1 priority deadline. Visit the UK Education Abroad website for more details. 
  • The Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits is accepting applications for its Summer 2023 Rum Distillation program in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This hybrid program includes travel from July 16 to July 21 and will include course credit toward the UK Distillation, Wine and Brewing studies certificate. The deadline to apply is February 9.
