Scholarship Description

The late Henry V. Heuser, Sr. established a college tuition scholarship fund for students in Jefferson County who demonstrate high standards of scholarship, citizenship, and leadership. The Community Foundation of Louisville administers this scholarship fund. Scholarship winners will receive a one-time award of $10,000 to be used for tuition, books, and academic fees at any accredited four-year undergraduate program that leads to a BA/BS degree. Being named a Vogt Scholar may also lead to further merit-based awards, particularly at local and regional colleges and universities.

The Vogt Educational & Leadership Scholarship application will open October 16 and close November 22 at 5:00 p.m. via the Community Foundation of Louisville’s website.
