- On Wednesday, March 29 at 6:00 PM, all interested students are invited to join Block & Bridle for their organizational meeting in room B52 of the Garrigus Building. Anyone interested in animal agriculture is encouraged to attend. This week's meeting will include food and door prizes.
- All University of Kentucky students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the CAFE Student Council Barn Dance on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the College's South Horticulture Farm (4321 Emmert Farm Lane). Doors open at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15 which includes food, games, door prizes, a t-shirt (while supplies last), live music and dancing, Battle Axes, an much more! Paid Research/Job Opportunities
- The Agroecosystem Nutrient Cycling Lab at University of Kentucky is hiring research assistants. Students will assist with research testing the effects of management practices on root growth, cover crop growth, and soil carbon and nitrogen dynamics. Work will be conducted in the laboratory and in the field. Responsibilities include plot layout, soil and plant sampling, sample processing and analysis, image analysis, data entry.
