Application Deadline

  • The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment (CAFE) is seeking student ambassadors for the 2022-23 academic year. To be considered as a CAFE Ambassador, the individual must meet a number of requirements.   • The deadline to apply for the Commonwealth Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) Fellowship is Tuesday, March 29. CURE-UNITE Fellows will receive a $3,000 stipend for the Summer 2022 period. Up to three (3) CURE Fellowships awarded for the UNITE RPA. Click here to apply.

Events and Club Meetings 

  • Join the UK Nationally Competetive Awards as they celebrate Fullbright Week beginning Monday, March 28 - Thursday, March 29. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants to study, teach, or conduct research in more than 140 countries. Click here for a list of events.
  • On Tuesday, March 29 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the College is hosting a major exploration workshop in the Ag North Wellness Room (N24). Students who are unsure of their major or considering a major change can come to chat with an exploratory advisor to discover a new path.
  • On Friday, April 22 at 1:00 pm at The Arboretum's Horticultural Gardens students are invited to hear a group of local percussionists perform Michael Gordon's "Timber" - a piece for 6 amplified wooden planks. The amplification of the complex timbral qualities of the wood creates an ethereal sonic experience and encourages meditation in sound and rhythm. For more information, click here. 
  • Both beginner and experienced bird walkers are invited to join Dan Patrick and Katey Buster, as they explore The Arboretum grounds looking for the birds that utilize our urban tree canopy on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Paid Openings

  • Hallway Feeds is seeking an intern to assist in various departments including sales, production, quality control, and more. This part-time paid internship program will last 8-12 weeks ranging from May through August. To apply and learn more, contact Anthony Koch at anthony@hallwayfeeds.com.
  • The UK Freshman Summer Program (FSP) is seeking resident assistants for the Fall 2022 semester. The UK Freshman Summer Program (FSP) is an academically-intensive program designed to improve the retention of minority students in residential housing. Male and female Resident Assistants will live in the residence hall with FSP participants during the five-week program.   • The Office of Technology Commercialization is looking for a Launch Blue Communications Ambassador. Ambassador will work with the Launch Blue team to select projects that interest them and complement their skill set. Communications ambassadors assist the Launch Blue team with various activities regarding communication, designing, and event coordination. For more information and to apply, click here.
