  • Transformative Learning will be offering free ETS-certified GRE Prep Seminars for UK students on Wednesday, April 13 from 12:30 to 3:00 pm. Career Development

  • The Job Club meeting will be hosted on Tuesday, April 12  from 9:00 to 10:15 am and it will explore current trends in hiring as well as helpful recommendations for a strategic job search from expert career development and human resources experts. Click here to register online. 

Events and Club Meetings

  • On Tuesday, April 12th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, the College is hosting "Adulting & Money: Budgeting After College" in the Ag North Wellness Room (N24). Students will learn ways to manage finances in preparation for “the real world.”

  • Join UK Dining's registered dietitian, Jessica Carter, in partnership with the Food Connection at The 90 for a Beginner Cooking Class on Tuesday, April 12 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This class will teach students how to cook an exciting meal while using local produce, on a budget. Click here to RSVP. 
  • Wednesday, April 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm join Student Activities Board in Baker Plaza for Cross-Cultural Crafting. There will be food provided for attendees. Click here to register. 
  • The Arboretum will host another spring performance by the UK College of Fine Arts Department of Theatre & Dance. This event will happen on Friday, April 15, and Saturday, April 16 at 6:00 pm. Admission is $3.00 /person (plus service charges) and must be purchased through Singletary. Research Opportunities

  • Researchers at the University of Kentucky are seeking men and women who do not currently exercise for a 12-week study. Participants will have to exercise five days per week (cardiovascular exercise only), take a milk thistle extract supplement, probiotic supplement, or both. Participants will be compensated $250 upon completion of the study. For more information, click here

The position includes someone helping customers put together outfits as well as working on the store's website. Hours would include three weekdays and most Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
