Club Meetings

  • All interested students are welcome to join the UK Agribusiness Club Welcome Back Picnic on Wednesday, September 7 from 5:30-7:00 PM. Attendees will enjoy good food, networking and learn about upcoming events. 
  • The UK Pre-Vet Club will host its first meeting on Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 PM in the Seay Auditorium of Ag North. Pizza will be served at the beginning of the event, and pre-vet advisor presentations will begin at 7:00 PM.  Learn more by following the UK Pre-Vet Club on Instagram.

Career Events

  • The UK Part-Time Job Fair is Tuesday, September 13 from 11:00 to 3:00 in the Student Center Atrium. More than 30 employers will be in attendance. To learn more and register, log into Handshake.
  • The Agribusiness and Industry Career Fair will be on Wednesday, September 14 from noon to 4:00 p.m. in the E.S. Good Barn. All interested students are encouraged to attend and visit with a variety of employers. Click here to register and learn more
  • The James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits and Ag Equine Programs are joining to present their Fall 2022 Kentucky Signature Industries Career Fair on Thursday, September 29 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Meet with employers and industry partners who are recruiting UK students for full-time, part-time, internship, and co-op positions. Experiential Opportunities

  • Teams of three are invited to participate in the UK Community Innovation Challenge. This program provides students an opportunity to effectively engage and enhance the quality of life for Kentucky communities. All interested UK undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to find out more by registering via this link for an informational meeting to be held in the Alumni Gallery of Willy T Library on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.

Wellness 

  • On Wednesdays throughout the semester, students can register to pick up a free, nutritious lunch through the UK Campus Kitchen's Farm to Fork program. These locally sourced meals are available at two campus locations - 207 Funkhouser and the Ag North Wellness Room (N24). To RSVP, select the date and pick up location via the Campus Kitchen's BBNvolved page

  • On Thursdays from 10:30 to 12:30, students can drop into the college's wellness room (N24 Ag North) for "Let's Talk," an informal drop-in with a clinician from the UK Counseling Center. During these conversations, counselors may offer guidance in addressing students' needs and direct them to services as appropriate. Talks will last approximately fifteen minutes or longer when time allows.
