  • Join the UK Job Club this Tuesday (9/14) from 9:00 to 10:15 for a session on "Job Search Tips" with local HR professionals and recruiters. Attendees may join in-person at the Fayette County Extension Office or online. These events are free and open to the public. Click here for more details
  • UK Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is hosting a general info session on Wednesday (9/15) at 6:00 in the Funkhouser Building. This session is geared towards students with an early interest in faculty mentored research. Visit the OUR website for more details. 

Internships & Jobs

  • UK Cooperative Extension is now accepting applications for its Summer 2022 Internships.. There are several internship opportunities working under the direction of Extension professionals in Agriculture and Natural Resources, 4-H Youth Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, Horticulture, Fine Arts, and the Office of Diversity. Events

  • The College of Pharmacy will host its annual Freshmen Welcome event on Wednesday, September 15 from 5:30 to 6:30. This event is an excellent opportunity for first-year students to meet current pharmacy students and UKCOP’s Admissions team. Food and snow cones will be provided. All students are welcome.
  • Join UK Education Abroad this Wednesday (9/15) for their annual fall fair - happening from 10:00 to 2:00 in the Barker Plaza outside of the Student Center. There, students may learn about a variety of scholarships and programs for every budget and major. The event will also include free t-shirts and hourly scholarship raffles. 
  • All students are invited to the Colleges 47th annual Roundup! Enjoy live music, great food, yard games, and pep rally before the CATS take on the Florida Gators. This event is free for current CAFE students who register online. For a complete schedule and to purchase tickets, please visit the CAFE Alumni Association website.

  • Save the date for the College's Intercultural Awareness Day on Monday, November 1 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the E.S. Good Barn. This year’s event will focus on urban and rural sustainability within the local food system through the theme "Learn Together, Grow Together." he program will be centered around minority business owners in the food chain and their challenges of entrepreneurship and working with local farmers delivered through two panels and a networking brunch.
