  • Advising for  winter and spring terms will begin soon. Be on the lookout for information from your advisor or department about scheduling your advising appointment. The course catalog will be available in myUK the week of October 12. You can use myUK GPS to build your long-range course plans. If you do not have an assigned advisor, please contact the Center for Student Success at CAFEadvising@uky.edu. You can access your advisor information from the Home page in myUK GPS.
  • UK Transformative Learning is hosting supplemental instruction for CHE 103 today (September 28) from 6:00 to 7:00. Click here for more information. 
  • On Tuesday and Wednesday, the UK Counseling Center is hosting two workshops this week on Beating Test Anxiety. Both of these events are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. online. Click here for more information. 

Professional Support 

  • The Stuckert Career Center is hosting a Diversity Career Virtual Networking event on Tuesday, September 29 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for students to connect with nearly 30 employers seeking diverse talent. To attend, upload your resume and register via Handshake
  • Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 4:00, students are welcome to drop in for a virtual resume review with career counselors at the Stuckert Career Center. For more information, click here

Clubs & Activities 

  • The UK Energy Club is asking all UK students to take a survey regarding electric chargers on campus. The survey is only five questions and will take less than one minute to complete. Click here to access. If you would like to get involved with the UK Energy Club, join their GroupMe account
  • The college's Agribusiness Club is hosting a Welcome Back picnic on Tuesday, September 29 from 4:30 to 5:30 on the Barnhart lawn. All interested students are welcome to attend and enjoy free food. Click here for more information. 
  • On Wednesday, UK Farm to Fork offers a locally sourced, nutritious lunch free to all students. Meals will be distributed from an outdoor table located outside Whitehall (facing the College of Engineering). If you plan to attend, be sure to register
  • On Wednesday, September 30 from noon to 1:00 p.m., the UK MLK center is hosting "Critical Race Theory: Why it Matters and What it Teaches." For more information, and to register, click here
