  • On Tuesday, November 23 from 9:00 to 10:15 am Job Club will be having a meeting to discuss ideas for success in interviewing for jobs, ideas for improving your resume, and suggestions for advancing your career. The Job Club meeting presentation will be made by Karen Hill, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer Emeritus, Baptist Health Lexington.   • Agriculture Future of America (AFA) is accepting applications for its leader insitutes which programs focusing on animal science, sustainability, crop science and more. Applications are due December 1 and a 3.0 GPA is required. Click here for details. 

Fundraiser

  • Through November 22, the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is selling a variety of apparel to benefit UK MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences). For each item sold, UK MANRRS will receive $10.00. Click here to access the store.

Events & Club Meetings 

  • Join the Students Activities Board for Disney Dance & Sing-a-Long from 6:00 to 8:30 pm on Monday (11/22) in Gatton Student Center Worsham Cinema. To register for this event, click here.
  • The Office of Student Organizations and Activities and Civic Lex will be hosting a watch party of the local government committee meeting on Tuesday (11/23) from 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm in the Cornerstone, Amplify 2 room. Civic Lex will be there to answer any and all questions you have concerning how local government works. In addition, crafts and lunch will be provided! To RSVP, click here. 
  • On Tuesday (11/23) the Student Government Association will be hosting Coats for Cats is an initiative in which all students can receive a free winter coat, hat, and a pair of gloves. This event will be in White Hall Classroom Building from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Click here to register.
