  • The UK Collegiate Moot Court Team extends an invitation to students of all majors interested in advocacy and constitutional law to join their undergraduate club. Members will have the opportunity to gain practical skills in public speaking, writing, and critical thinking, as well as compete in regional and national competitions. Experiential Opportunities

  • UK Student Government Association (SGA) has an unexpected opening for a senator from the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.  All interested students in the college are eligible to apply. Responsibilities include a weekly Wednesday meeting at 7:00 p.m. and other minor requirements.   • Students can participate in a Summer 2021 study abroad program in Sweden with the course FAM 455: Scandinavian Health, Well-Being & Life Quality. Participants will learn about one of the best health care systems in the world, attend lectures by health care professionals, visit historical locations, and more.   • Florida State University College of Law is hosting the Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates program, a 4-week virtual law school experience designed to introduce students to classes, admissions processes, and provide networking opportunities with judges and lawyers. Job & Internship Opportunities

  • The Campus Kitchen at UK is seeking an intern to help with garden school gardens, the campus gardens, and CKUK’s indoor garden. Job duties would include maintaining gardens, recruiting and training volunteers, tracking data, and working with campus and community partners.   • The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is providing an 8-week summer internship for current or recently graduated UK students. Interns will receive a $5,000 stipend and get hands-on experience with alumni relations, event planning, marketing, and more. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 26. Applicants should e-mail Lori Eckdahl at lori.eckdahl@uky.edu with a resume, two letters of recommendation, and a personal statement of 750 words or less summarizing their interest in the educational advancement field and how the program would further their interest.
  • JBS, the world’s largest protein producer, is offering many internships and management trainee positions for students and recent graduates to get hands-on experience in the industry.   • The UK Human Development Institute is seeking short-term student employees to train as phone interviewers for a project with the KY Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
