Joseph Shinoda Memorial Scholarship - Shinoda Scholarship


Scholarship Description

Each year, scholarships are awarded by the Foundation to undergraduate students specializing in some phase of FLORICULTURE, the cultivation of flowers, especially to be cut and sold, including flowering plants and foliage plants. The object of the awards is to encourage good students to enter the domestic floriculture field; therefore, applicants should intend to work in some phase of commercial floriculture in the United States after graduation.



Kentucky Cattleman's Association


Scholarship Description

The Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association Youth Scholarship, funded by the KCA Foundation, began in 1991 and has provided $114,500 in scholarship funds to students across Kentucky.  Student’s applying for the application must attend a Kentucky College or University and must major in Agriculture or an Agriculturally-related subject. The recipients are chosen based on academic performance, community activities, and beef industry essay statements.

Burley Tobacco Growers Cooperative


Scholarship Description
The Burley Tobacco Growers Cooperative Association (BTGCA) scholarship is available for individuals attending community and technical colleges, private colleges, two-year colleges, seminaries, trade schools, and public universities. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the student’s overall grade-point average, writing ability, and leadership potential. The application gives a good overview of each applicant’s development in these areas.

Community Veterinary Partners College


Scholarship Description

Community Veterinary Partners College is now offering a bi-yearly $1,000 scholarship (spring and winter) for those who are currently attending college or who will be attending college or graduate school in the next year.To apply, the student must submit an essay of at least 500 words on one of the three animal-related topics on the website.



Great Minds in STEM Scholarship

GMiS scholarships are one-year scholarships. Students must apply each year and compete against our annual candidate pool. Students with interest in any science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields of study AND health/medical fields of study qualify for the GMiS Scholarship Program.

We're proud to support young people pursuing agriculture studies. We offer academic scholarships to incoming freshmen and current college students. Every year, we award up to five scholarships to students in our West Region and five scholarships to students in our East Region.
